ABOUT THE COURSE

In an environment where traditional funding, whether for State Corporations, County Governments, NGOs and even CSOs & CBOs is no longer sufficient, this three day resource Mobilization Masterclass, delivered by international experts, equips participants with practical and strategic approaches to mobilizing resources from donors.

Participants will master advanced donor mapping techniques, identify high-value financing opportunities and learn how to write winning proposals. The course also guides participants in transitioning from ad-hoc grant seeking to institutional resource mobilization frameworks

The programme further equips participants with the expertise to build resilient partnerships with development partners and design a diversified revenue engine that supports long-term institutional and organizational sustainability.

INTENDED PARTICIPANTS

The course is recommended for individuals and officers tasked with assisting their respective organizations to raise funds for operations for those organizations, outside the traditional funding channels, such as relying on the exchequer, appropriation in aid (A-in-A).

INTENDED OUTCOMES

By the end of the course, it is expected that the participant will be able to :—

a)           Map out donors that align with and promote the organizations’ mandates and visions.

b)      Write successful proposals that appeal to the organizations’ donor(s) interests

c)       Lean how to develop effective and sustainable resource mobilization strategies

d)      Learn practical approaches of engaging donors and development partners

CERTIFICATES: A certificate of attendance and participation will be issued to each participant who attends the entire course.

YOUR INVESTMENT: Kshs. 35,000 inclusive of VAT and registration fee (covers tuition fees, course materials, stationery, lunch and refreshments).

CPD POINTS: Members of the Law Society of Kenya who attend and complete the training will be entitled, on payment of extra 1,000.00 to be awarded 2 CPD points. Payment of this sum shall be effected during the training, as will be directed by the organizers of the training.
